    Promoting a global mega-brand

    Max Factor is the number 1 manufacturer and distributor of make-up in the world. They found it hard to convey to their clients some of the important facets in their products. They had existing high quality pictures on their website, but these didn’t show the products in their true light. In particular they had a range of clutch bags that were made of a shiny material that could not be truly represented in photos, so they came to us for a video.

    The problems they had showcasing were:

    • The quality of the finish
    • The materials used
    • Benefits of the product.

    This project was all about clarity and simplicity

    The brief was for a simple style and for the products to explain themselves. As this was a video to get more of an understanding of the materials used rather than a direct sales video, we shot them in our studio against a white background.

    We produced a quantity of short videos for Max Factor in both the white and red branding for the different international markets. The client could now send these videos all over the world to any buyer. We even created small mobile phone sized videos, so if needed the videos could be sent directly to their phone by an email. The videos stopped the uncertainty of the product range and meant that the sales process was simpler and more easily managed.
